Find the slope of the line that passes through each pair of points.

1. (1-2)/(3-5) = (-1)/(-2) = 1/2

2. (0-4)/(-5-7) = (-4)/(-12) = 1/3

To find the slope you’d do the second y-value minus the first y-value over the second x-value minus the first x-value.
