Solve -4a^ - (6a -2) + 3 (a^-1). please solve.the arrows that are pointing up is exponent 2

1.First write the problem: 4^a - (6a -2) + 3 (a^-1).
2.Now factor (6a -2) which is 2(3a-1).
3.Next factor 3 (a^-1) which is (3a^-1).
4.Cancel out all common terms.
5.Now you are left with 4^a.
