Factor the polynomial:

7p⁸ + 42p⁵ + 28p²


Factor out the greatest common divisor:

= 7p⁽² ⁺ ⁶⁾ + 42p⁽² ⁺ ³⁾ + 28p²

= 7p² · p⁶ + 7p² · 6p³ + 7p² · 4

= 7p² · (p⁶ + 6p³ + 4)    <————    factored form
