By late 1800s and early 1900s what fate did native Americans in the west face at the hands of the us government

Many Natives were forced to leave their place so white settlers can have more room to expand. this is also known as the “Trail of Tears” the Native Americans were forced to walk many miles with very little resources therefore many got sick and died on this trail. They had to walk in the cold with little clothing and food.
