write an equation that is parallel to y=8/3x-5 and passes through (-3, -5)

-5 - y = 8/3 (-3 - x)
Then just expand this and move ‘y’ to make it positive.

-5 - y = -8 -8/3x
y = 8/3x + 3 <—— answer

I used the formula y2 -y1 = m(x2 - x1)
