How do you explain what the problem 6 divided by 1/2 means?

Answer:

6 divided by 1/2 essentially just multiplying the number by two. 6/(1/2)=12. 6*2=12. In this problem, you are simply dividing the number six by a part of a number, in this case one half of one. Hope that helps, let me know if not!
