Slope Intercept Form: y = mx + b

Point it Goes Through: (4,3)

Perpendicular: y = -2x + 17

*Perpendicular have neg reciprocal slopes of each other*

y = 1/2x + b

Plug in and Solve

3 = 1/2(4) + b

3 = 2 + b

-2   -2

--------------

1 = b

Answer: y = 1/2x + 1

Hope I Helped!
