what are the x- and y-intercepts of -3x + 5y = -15

solve for x

-3x+5y=-15

Add -5y to both sides

-3x+5y+-5y=-15+-5y

-3x=-5y-15

Divide both sides by -3

-3x/-3=-5y-15/-3

x= 5/3 y +5
